Calling all independent presses and self-published authors: this year’s Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) Publishing University takes place on April 6–7 in Austin, Texas. The annual educational and networking conference offers hands-on learning labs, inspiring keynote speeches, in-depth workshops, a book award ceremony, and many more valuable professional resources.
Our publisher, Maggie Langrick, will lend her award-winning expertise at two sessions. On Friday, April 6, she’ll lead a Book Concept Boot Camp, where participants will learn how to identify and resolve common conceptual problems in the planning stages of any book project to create books that readers will buy, read and recommend. On Saturday, April 7, she’ll share the stage with two other publishers on a Hybrid Publishing panel, sharing stories about the challenges and opportunities associated with this burgeoning alternative publishing business model.
The IBPA Publishing University is an excellent opportunity for anyone involved in the independent publishing community. Register now!
