A quick chat with: Chloe Belanger

Chloe Belanger is just around the corner from graduating with her bachelor of Arts/Communication at Capilano University in North Vancouver. She has a passion for the protection and preservation of the natural environment, organic living and making the world a better place any way she can. She has recently joined the LifeTree Media team as the newest intern and can’t wait to get started.

Chloe, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a bit of a kid at heart. I believe it is important to experience life to the fullest rather than just let it pass day by day. I love learning new things and I’m constantly looking for adventure. I can usually be found rock climbing, I speak French and I never buy clothes without pockets.

What inspired you to join the LifeTree Media team?
I am incredibly passionate about sharing wisdom in any form. After doing some research, I found that LifeTree Media and I share very similar beliefs and I’ve grown very fond of the information that this company is sharing to its audience.

What kind of books are you most inspired by?
I am inspired by all sorts of books. I think the most inspirational books are books which tell true stories of overcoming adversity or ones which inspire me to try new ways of thinking. My favourite book is Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer.

What is a quote or mantra you try to live by?
“Everything happens for a reason.” If I’m feeling stressed or something doesn’t work out the way I had planned I always try to remind myself that I learn more from overcoming obstacles than I do from never experiencing any.
