LifeTree Media to Publish Self-Help Book from Certified Coach Melinda Harrison

We’re delighted to share that LifeTree Media is publishing certified coach and former Olympian Melinda Harrison’s first book. It is scheduled to be released under LifeTree’s Best Book program on April 21, 2020.

Melinda HarrisonAfter the death of a neighbour and fellow Olympic athlete, Melinda Harrison felt deeply moved to examine the difficulties faced by many high-performers after reaching what seemed to be the height of their careers or lives. Focusing the lens on elite athletes in particular, Harrison interviewed more than 100 high-achievers who have successfully navigated the transition from one pinnacle to the next.

This ground-breaking guide to transition is the result. The book describes the arc of transition common to all high-performers, including the ascent to the peak achievement, the messy middle of change, and the move toward new and different accomplishments. Woven throughout the book are stories from elite athletes and successful professionals in business and the arts who have gone through such change. It should be read by anyone who needs practical information and tools for managing transition, whether because of retirement, lay-off, or other ending to a major achievement.

The book will be available for sale in bookstores across North America and via online retailers on April 21, 2020.
